10.12.2023 - Jugendfeuerwehr Oberderdingen beteiligt sich wieder am Weihnachtsmarkt

Oberderdingen. Wie immer am zweiten Adventswochenende fand vom 08. bis 10. Dezember der 36. Oberderdinger Weihnachtsmarkt im wunderschönen, weihnachtlich geschmückt und beleuchteten, historischen Amthof, im Rathaus sowie im Gewölbekeller statt. Mit ihrem Verkaufsstand beteiligte sich auch die Jugendfeuerwehr Oberderdingen wieder am Weihnachtsmarkt, der von Freitagabend bis Sonntagabend geöffnet hatte.

Im Angebot hatten die Jugendfeuerwehrler in ihrer Verkaufshütte dieses Mal eine ganz neue Speisekarte. Neben Puten- und Schweinesteaks im Weck – wahlweise mit Röstzwiebeln, gegrillt auf einem holzbefeuerten Grill gab es als vegetarische Speise Grillkäse im Weck sowie Churros mit Zimt und Zucker als kleinen, süßen Imbiss für den Hunger zwischendurch.

Zum Wärmen der Hände ging der eine oder andere Kinderpunsch bzw. Glühwein über den Tresen. Außerdem gab es diverse antialkoholische Kaltgetränke sowie exklusiv frisch gezapftes Weihnachtsbier der Brauerei von Berg aus Kürnbach im Angebot. Jeder konnte bei uns und den anderen Verkaufsständen nach dem Stöbern und Suchen nach den noch fehlenden Weihnachtsgeschenken zumindest was Passendes für das leibliche Wohl finden.

Nach der Eröffnung durch Bürgermeister Thomas Nowitzki am Freitagabend füllten sich der Amthof und die Ausstellungsräume im Rathaus und Gewölbekeller rasch und so herrschte bei trockenem Wetter und schöner Atmosphäre eine gute Stimmung.

Am Samstag kamen am Nachmittag bei einem abwechslungsreichen Bühnenprogramm trotz einsetzendem Regen schon kurz nach der Öffnung des Marktes schnell viele Gäste in den Amthof, der auch am Abend gut besucht war. Zum Schutz vor Regen hatten wir vor unserem Stand kurzerhand ein großes Zelt aufgebaut, so dass sich viele Gäste auch bei Schmuddelwetter die Laune bei Musik und Duft von Glühwein, Punsch und zahlreichen anderen Leckereien nicht verderben ließen.

Auch am Sonntag war bei überwiegend trockenem Wetter und zwischendurch ein paar Sonnenstrahlen gerade am Nachmittag reges Treiben und teils dichtes Gedränge zwischen den Weihnachtsständen zu sehen.

Trotz des nicht so tollen Wetters vor allem am Samstag war der Weihnachtsmarkt sehr gut besucht und die vorweihnachtliche Stimmung im Getümmel war toll, so dass wir am Stand viel Spaß hatten und mit dem Erlös aus dem Umsatz, der für die vielfältigen Jugendaktivitäten genutzt wird, sehr zufrieden sein konnten.

An dieser Stelle ein großes Dankeschön an unsere Gäste für die Unterstützung der Jugendarbeit und natürlich an all unsere fleißigen Helferinnen und Helfer, ob bei den Vorbereitungen, in der Küche, beim Verkauf oder beim Auf- und Abbau. Herzlichen Dank auch an die Zimmerei Mario Kaucher aus Königsbach für das Ausleihen des genialen Grills und an die Firma Eckardt Systems, die uns ihren Transporter zur Verfügung stellte.
