03.06.2023 - 14.08 - Brandeinsatz, Großbrand - Brand Elektroschrott, Fa. CR-Recycling, Robert-Bosch-Ring, Ortsteil Flehingen

Am Samstagmittag, 03.06.23 wurden um 14.08 Uhr zunächst die Abteilungen Flehingen und Oberderdingen von der integrierten Leitstelle Karlsruhe zu einem Brandeinsatz zur Firma CR-Recycling in den Robert-Bosch-Ring im interkommunalen Industriegebiet „Kreuzgarten“ im Ortsteil Flehingen alarmiert. Mehrere Notrufteilnehmer meldeten eine starke Rauchentwicklung über dem Firmengelände.

Bereits auf der Anfahrt der ersten Kräfte konnte die Rauchentwicklung bestätigt werden. Die Lageerkundung vor Ort ergab einen Brand in einem mit Elektroschrott gefüllten 40m3-Container auf dem Freigelände des Recyclingunternehmens direkt der Grundstücksgrenze zur Bundesstraße B 293.

Umgehend wurden erste Löschmaßnahmen eingeleitet und die Wasserversorgung aus dem Hydrantennetz aufgebaut sowie die Abteilung Großvillars nachgefordert. Von zwei Löschfahrzeugen kamen insgesamt vier Trupps unter Atemschutz mit vier C-Rohren zur Brandbekämpfung zum Einsatz. Eine Ausbreitung des Feuers auf den Bewuchs an der Böschung zur Bundesstraße konnte rasch gelöscht werden. Ebenso zeigte der Löscheinsatz am Container schnell Erfolg.

Zwei weitere Löschfahrzeuge wurden zunächst auf der Bundesstraße in Höhe des Firmengeländes positioniert. Die Besatzungen kontrollierten die Böschung auf eine eventuelle Brandausbreitung, allerdings ohne Feststellung.

Die Nachlöscharbeiten wurden von einem firmeneigenen Bagger unterstützt, indem das Brandgut auseinandergezogen und zum vollständigen Ablöschen in einen anderen Container umgeladen wurde. Zur Kontrolle der Brandstelle kam zudem eine Wärmebildkamera zum Einsatz.

Zur Absicherung der Einsatzkräfte waren der Rettungsdienst und die DRK-Bereitschaft Flehingen vorsorglich vor Ort. Verletzt wurde glücklicherweise niemand.

Im Einsatz waren 18 Feuerwehrangehörige der Abteilung Flehingen mit dem Hilfeleistungslöschgruppenfahrzeug HLF 16/20, der Drehleiter DLA (K) 23/12 und dem Mittleren Löschfahrzeug MLF, 22 Kräfte der Abteilung Oberderdingen mit dem Löschgruppenfahrzeug LF 16/20, dem Hilfeleistungslöschgruppenfahrzeug HLF 20 und dem Einsatzleitwagen ELW 1 sowie neun Kräfte der Abteilung Großvillars mit dem Mittleren Löschfahrzeug MLF und dem Mannschaftstransportwagen MTW. Der Bauhof der Gemeinde unterstützte die Aufräumarbeiten mit einem Mitarbeiter des Bereitschaftsdienstes und einem Fahrzeug zum Transport der verunreinigten Gerätschaften.

Vom Rettungsdienst des DRK-Kreisverbands Karlsruhe waren ein Notarzt und drei Mitarbeiter*innen mit einen Notarzteinsatzfahrzeug NEF aus Bretten und einem Rettungswagen RTW aus Bruchsal (an diesem Tag im Ortsgebiet eingesetzt) vor Ort. Die Bereitschaft des DRK-Ortsvereins Flehingen mit acht Helfer*innen und dem Notfallhilfeeinsatzfahrzeug und dem Krankenwagen KTW angerückt bzw. im DRK-Haus in Bereitschaft. Die Polizei war mit zwei Beamt*innen und einem Streifenwagen vom Revier Bretten vor Ort. Einsatzende war nach den Reinigungs- und Aufrüstarbeiten gegen 16.35 Uhr.
