17.11.2022 - 20 Kindergartenkinder zu Besuch im Feuerwehrhaus

Oberderdingen. Am Donnerstag, 17.11.22 erhielt die Abteilung Oberderdingen Besuch vom Kindergarten „Schneckenhaus“ aus der Bremichstraße im Feuerwehrhaus Oberderdingen. Eine Gruppe mit 20 Vorschulkindern und vier Erzieherinnen war zu Gast, um sich bei der Feuerwehr umzuschauen und um mit allen, auch im Kindesalter schon wichtigen Informationen zum Thema Feuerwehr versorgt zu werden.

Mit zwei Mannschaftstransportwagen wurde die Gruppe gegen 10 Uhr im Kindergarten abgeholt und zum Feuerwehrhaus gefahren. Dort wurden alle von Ehrenkommandant Hans Meffle und seinem Team von fünf weiteren Kameraden der Altersabteilung begrüßt herzlich willkommen geheißen.

Anschließend ging es für die aufgeregte „Meute“ auch sofort los mit der Besichtigung des Feuerwehrhauses mit seinen etlichen Funktionsräumen inklusive des Erklimmens des 21 Meter hohen Übungsturms. Von dort aus konnten die Kinder einen tollen Blick über den Ort werfen und stellten erstaunt fest, wie klein doch die abgestellten Feuerwehrfahrzeuge auf dem Hof wirkten.

Nach dem Rundgang waren natürlich die Feuerwehrfahrzeuge an der Reihe, um genauer unter die Lupe genommen zu werden. Ob Einsatzleit- oder Rüstwagen und Löschfahrzeug, alles konnte ausgiebig angeschaut werden und die Feuerwehrangehörigen versuchten auch alle Fragen bestmöglich zu beantworten.

Zum Abschluss durfte jede/r der wollte, eine Uniform anziehen und ausprobieren, wie es sich als Juniorfeuerwehrfrau bzw. -mann so anfühlt! Etwas müde von so vielen neuen Eindrücken brachten wir die Kinder um die Mittagszeit wieder zurück zu ihrem Kindergarten.

Wir hoffen, dass wir den Vorschulkindern viel Freude und einen schönen Ausflug bereiten konnten. Vielleicht hat ja die Eine oder der Andere auch Lust bekommen, zukünftig mit dem Erreichen des achten Lebensjahres zur Jugendfeuerwehr zugehen und für ausreichend Feuerwehrnachwuchs zu sorgen.
