25.11.2022 - 16.45 - Brandeinsatz, Kleinbrand - PKW-Brand außerorts, Kreuzgartenallee/Ortsentlastungsstraße, Ortsteil Flehingen

Am Freitagabend, 25.11.2022 wurden die Abteilungen Flehingen und Oberderdingen um 16.45 Uhr zu einem Brandeinsatz auf die Kreuzgartenallee / Ortsentlastungsstraße Flehingen (Umfahrung L 554) alarmiert. Von dort wurde ein PKW-Brand außerorts gemeldet.

Beim Eintreffen der Feuerwehr stand das zwischen dem Kreisverkehr Ortsausgang Richtung Gochsheim und der Unterführung der Stadtbahnlinie auf der Fahrbahn liegengebliebene Auto im Motorraum in Vollbrand. Umgehend wurde vom Flehinger Hilfeleistungslöschgruppenfahrzeug ein Löschangriff mit einem C-Rohr von einem Trupp unter Atemschutz eingeleitet, welcher auch schnell Erfolg zeigte. Löschwassernachschub kam derweil vom Löschgruppenfahrzeug aus Oberderdingen. Das Feuer konnte rasch abgelöscht werden, dennoch brannte der Motorraum komplett aus.

Mit der Wärmebildkamera wurde zudem kontrolliert, ob das Fahrzeugwrack ausreichend abgekühlt war, um ein Wiederaufflammen ausschließen zu können. Ein weiterer Atemschutztrupp stand währenddessen in Bereitstellung. Außerdem wurde die Einsatzstelle mit einem Lichtmast ausgeleuchtet.

Während des Einsatzes musste die Ortentlastungsstraße von der Polizei komplett gesperrt werden. Als Brandursache ist ein technischer Defekt am Fahrzeug wahrscheinlich.

Im Einsatz bzw. in Bereitstellung waren insgesamt 15 Kräfte der Abteilung Flehingen (weitere Kräfte standen in Bereitstellung) mit dem Hilfeleistungslöschgruppenfahrzeug HLF 16/20 und dem Mittleren Löschfahrzeug MLF sowie 25 Feuerwehrangehörige der Abteilung Oberderdingen mit dem Löschgruppenfahrzeug LF16/20 und dem Einsatzleitwagen ELW 1. Das Hilfeleistungslöschgruppenfahrzeug HLF 20 konnte die Anfahrt abbrechen. Die Polizei war mit zwei Beamt*innen und einem Streifenwagen vom Revier Bretten vor Ort. Vom Bauhof war ein Mitarbeiter des Bereitschaftsdienstes mit einem Fahrzeug an der Einsatzstelle, um Warnschilder aufzustellen und um ggf. eine Fachfirma zur Fahrbahnreinigung hinzuzuziehen. Einsatzende war gegen 18.15 Uhr.
