21.07.2025 - 9.36 - Gefahrstoffeinsatz ABC-Zug, Überlandhilfe - Gefahrstoffaustritt, Franz-Sigel-Straße, Waghäusel-Wiesental

Oberderdingen/Waghäusel. Zwei Kameraden der Abteilung Oberderdingen, die sich auch im ABC-Zug Karlsruhe-Land engagieren, waren am Montagmorgen, 21.07.25 im Einsatz. Um 9.36 Uhr wurde der ABC-Zug von der integrierten Leitstelle Karlsruhe mit der Alarmmeldung „Gefahrstoffaustritt groß“ zusammen mit dem Gefahrstoffzug Karlsruhe-Land-Nord und der Feuerwehr Waghäusel zu einer Firma in die Franz-Sigel-Straße im Waghäuseler Stadtteil Wiesental zu einem Umweltschutz- bzw. Gefahrstoffeinsatz alarmiert.  

Mitarbeiter bemerkten auf dem Firmengelände nach einer chemischen Reaktion einen Gasaustritt und verständigten die Feuerwehr. Nach dem Eintreffen der ersten Kräfte wurde der Gefahrenbereich von der Feuerwehr umgehend gesperrt, zwei Fachberater Chemie hinzugezogen und Messungen sowie Lüftungsmaßnahmen durchgeführt. Vom ABC-Zug wurde ein Dekonplatz aufgebaut und betrieben sowie weitere Luftmessungen auf einem benachbarten Parkplatz gemacht.

Die Feuerwehr Waghäusel, der Gefahrgutzug Karlsruhe-Land-Nord und der ABC-Zug Karlsruhe-Land waren mit rund 70 Kräften und 20 Fahrzeugen im Einsatz. Außerdem waren zwei Fachberater aus Stutensee und Pfinztal, der Rettungsdienst und die Polizei vor Ort. Einsatzende war für die Kräfte der Abteilung Oberderdingen gegen 14.00 Uhr am Mittag.

Hintergrundinfo:

Der ABC-Zug Karlsruhe-Land wird Einsatz im durch die Feuerwehren Bretten, Oberderdingen und Kürnbach gemeinsam gestellt und betreibt den Gerätewagen-Dekon-P sowie den CBRN-Erkundungswagen. Der Gefahrstoffzug Karlsruhe-Land-Nord wird gebildet von der Feuerwehr Kraichtal (Abteilungen Menzingen und Münzesheim) und der Feuerwehr Karlsdorf-Neuthard, die unter anderem den Gerätewagen-Gefahrgut GW-G zum Einsatz bringen.
