12.01.2024 - Auffrischung in Erster Hilfe - Einblicke in RTW und KTW

Oberderdingen. Beim ersten Übungsdienst der Abteilung Oberderdingen im neuen Jahr stand die Auffrischung der Ersten Hilfe auf dem Ausbildungsplan. An insgesamt fünf Stationen wurde theoretische und praktische Ausbildung zu verschiedenen Themen der Ersten Hilfe durchgeführt, wie beispielsweise die Herz-Lungen-Wiederbelebung, die Anwendung eines AED`s (automatisierter, externer Defibrillator), der Einsatz von Rettungsbrett, Schaufel- sowie Schleifkorbtrage samt Zubehör oder den Inhalt und die Anwendung des Sanitätsrucksacks.

Verstärkung erhielten wir dabei von Thomas Günther, Bereitschaftsleiter des DRK-Ortsvereins Oberderdingen, der uns den 4-Tragen-Krankentransportwagen des Katastrophenschutzes – stationiert beim DRK Oberderdingen vorstellte. Außerdem konnten wir für den Ausbildungsabend durch einen Kameraden, der Mitarbeiter im Rettungsdienst beim DRK-Kreisverband Karlsruhe ist, auch einen Rettungswagen des Rettungsdienstes zur Vorstellung des Fahrzeugs und der Ausstattung ins Feuerwehrhaus bekommen.

Fachkundig wurden uns die medizinischen Geräte und Hilfsmittel wie EKG/Defibrillator oder Beatmungsgerät erklärt und vorgeführt. Außerdem erhielten wir Anleitungen in Gerätschaften wie der Bedienung der Fahrtrage oder dem Beladen des 4-Tragen-Krankenwagens, um so bei Bedarf den Rettungs- und/oder Sanitätsdienst unterstützen zu können, da wir fast bei jedem Einsatz bereits jetzt erfolgreich, kollegial und vertrauensvoll mit dem Rettungsdienst und den DRK-Bereitschaften zusammenarbeiten.

Vielen Dank an Thomas Günther vom DRK-Ortsverein Oberderdingen, dem DRK-Kreisverband Karlsruhe und dem Organisations-/Ausbilderteam für den gelungenen Dienstabend.
