04.03.2023 - Jugendfeuerwehr Oberderdingen hilft bei Baumpflanzaktion „Hier wächst Zukunft“

Landkreis Karlsruhe/Bretten/Oberderdingen. Unter dem Motto „Hier wächst Zukunft“ fand am Samstag, 04.03.23 bei sehr kühlem und trübem Wetter eine große, landkreis- bzw. landesweite Baumpflanzaktion vieler Jugendfeuerwehren in Zusammenarbeit mit den Forstämtern statt, an der sich auch die Jugendfeuerwehr Oberderdingen mit 15 Kindern und Jugendbetreuern beteiligte.

In einer gemeinsamen Aktion mit dem Forstamt des Landkreises Karlsruhe pflanzten am Samstag im Landkreis Karlsruhe über 700 Angehörige der Jugendfeuerwehren aus dem Landkreis Karlsruhe und deren Betreuerinnen und Betreuer einen Wald für morgen.

Anlass ist das 50-jährige Jubiläum der Jugendfeuerwehr Baden-Württemberg, die zu diesem Zweck das Kooperationsprojekt „Hier wächst Zukunft“ mit der Landesforstverwaltung Baden-Württemberg ins Leben gerufen haben. An jeder der sechs ausgewählten Pflanzflächen im Landkreis Karlsruhe haben jeweils über 100 Jugendliche standortgerechte Baumarten wie Traubeneiche, Hainbuche und Elsbeere gepflanzt. Allein die Jugendfeuerwehr Oberderdingen hat an diesem Tag in ihrem zugewiesenen Pflanzbereich bei Bretten rund 120 Bäume eingepflanzt. Hier waren auch die Jugendfeuerwehren aus Bretten, Diedelsheim, Bauerbach, Ruit, Ettlingen, Ettlingenweiher, Bruchhausen, Oberweiher und Kürnbach aktiv.

An dieser Stelle an großes Dankeschön an die Gärtnerei Am Amthof für den technischen Support der Jugendfeuerwehr Oberderdingen an diesem Tag mit ausreichend Spaten!

Wer viel und hart arbeitet, braucht selbstredend auch eine gute Stärkung und die lieferte der Küchenzug der Jugendfeuerwehr Landkreis Karlsruhe mit seiner Verpflegung in bewährter Weise zum Mittagessen in die jeweiligen Pflanzgebiete. Dafür herzlichen Dank!

Die gemeinsame Pflanzaktion fand im Rahmen der Infokampagne „Das Blatt wenden – Gemeinsam für die Zukunft unserer Wälder“ der Landesforstverwaltung Baden-Württemberg statt. Zum einen wird dabei über den Klimawandel im Wald und seine Folgen informiert. Zum anderen stehen die Herausforderungen und Leistungen der Waldbesitzer und der Forstverwaltung zur Anpassung unserer Wälder im Vordergrund.
