15.07.2023 - Abteilungsausflug nach Rottenburg/Neckar

Oberderdingen/Rottenburg/Rutesheim. Nach drei Jahren, der Coronapandemie geschuldeten Pause war die Freude und die Resonanz unter den Feuerwehrangehörigen der Einsatzabteilung und der Altersmannschaft der Abteilung Oberderdingen am Samstag, 15.07.23 entsprechend groß, als wir morgens wieder zu einem gemeinsamen Abteilungsausflug aufbrechen konnten. Mit Familienangehörigen hatten sich nach kurzer Zeit 76 Personen für den Ausflug angemeldet und wir starteten morgens gegen 8.00 Uhr bei bestem Hochsommerwetter gut gelaunt am Feuerwehrhaus mit zwei Reisebussen in Richtung Süden.

Das erste Reiseziel des Tages war die Römer- und Bischofsstadt Rottenburg am Neckar im Landkreis Tübingen, wo wir bereits gegen 10.00 nach einigen Runden Autobahn-Bingo angekommen waren. Nach einer Frühstückspause mit unserem mitgebrachten Vesper hatten wir eine Stadtführung gebucht. Aufgeteilt in eine Kindergruppe und zwei Gruppen für die Erwachsenen ging es vom Römermuseum aus für rund eineinhalb Stunden durch die Straßen und Wege der schönen Rottenburger Altstadt vorbei am Bischofssitz der katholischen Diözese Rottenburg-Stuttgart samt Dom bis hinab zum Neckar. Dabei erfuhren wir reichlich Wissenswertes über die große Kreisstadt in der Region Neckar-Alb.

Nach der Stadtführung hatten alle ein Stunde Zeit zur freien Verfügung, was die Allermeisten zum Eisessen oder für ein kühles Getränk im Straßencafé nutzten. Anschließend ging die Reise auch schon weiter zur zweiten Etappe. Die Fahrt führte uns wieder ein wenig in Richtung Heimat, nämlich nach Rutesheim zum Freizeitpark.

Dort angekommen erwartete uns eine Olympiade, die mit entsprechendem Ehrgeiz bestritten, für reichlich Spaß und Unterhaltung sorgte. Aufgeteilt in mehrere Gruppen wurden bei der Olympiade verschiedene Spiele im Wettstreit gegeneinander ausgetragen. So mussten sich die zufällig zusammengestellten Teams ein Wettrennen beim Gokartfahren oder beim Viererskilaufen liefern, Punkte beim Leitergolf erspielen, beim Menschenkicker und beim Schlauchziehen gegeneinander antreten oder die Kräfte beim Bubble-Ringen messen. Für die Kinder wurde ein angepasstes Programm geboten. Wer wollte konnte zum Schluss noch seine Fähigkeiten beim Segwayfahren testen. Allerdings machte uns hier ein aufziehendes Gewitter vorzeitig einen Strich durch die Rechnung, denn der Regen ließ uns alle schnell zum Abendessen in das angegliederte, urige Erlebnisrestaurant „Kraxl-Alm“ eilen.

Gut gestärkt und bestens gelaunt machten wir uns dann nach einem wunderschönen und tollen Tag, der wieder einmal viel zu schnell vorbei gegangen war, auf den Heimweg und waren gegen 21 Uhr zurück in Oberderdingen.
