24.03.2023 - Kinder der Paula-Fürst-Schule besuchen die Feuerwehr Oberderdingen

Oberderdingen. Am Freitag, 24.03.23 besuchten Schülerinnen und Schüler der Paula-Fürst-Schule Oberderdingen, einer Schule mit Förderschwerpunkt für geistige Entwicklung, die Feuerwehrabteilung Oberderdingen. Der Anfrage der Schule nach einer Besichtigung der Feuerwehr waren wir wieder gerne nachgekommen, und konnten dies vier junggebliebener Rentner unserer Kameraden der Altersmannschaft und zwei Feuerwehrangehörigen der Einsatzabteilung auch unter der Woche während der Arbeitszeit verwirklichen. Insgesamt waren 12 Kinder und drei Betreuer*innen zu Besuch gekommen.

Nach der Begrüßung der Gruppe im Feuerwehrhaus durch Ehrenkommandant Hans Meffle konnten die Kinder auch gleich den 21 Meter hohen Übungsturm erklimmen und die schöne Aussicht genießen. Es folgte die Besichtigung des Feuerwehrhauses mit den verschiedenen Räumlichkeiten. Magische Anziehungskraft hatte hier der Tischkicker im Kameradschaftsbereich. In der Fahrzeughalle angekommen, wurde den Kindern die Uniformen und einige Geräte vorgestellt. Natürlich durften auch alle die wollten einmal in die Rolle eines Feuerwehrangehörigen schlüpfen und die Einsatzkleider anziehen.

Großes Interesse weckten freilich die Feuerwehrfahrzeuge und die darin befindlichen Geräte. Hier hatten die Kinder besondere Freude beim Ein- und Aussteigen in die Mannschaftskabinen. In spielerischer Weise zeigten die Kameraden den Kindern dann die Ausrüstungsgegenstände, erklärten ihre Verwendung und zeigten die Handhabung. Selbstverständlich durften die Kinder diese auch selbst in die Hand nehmen und damit hantieren, soweit dies möglich war. Die Schülerinnen und Schüler zeigten sehr viel Interesse und hatten auch sehr viel Fragen, die nach bestem Wissen beantwortet wurden.

Das größte für die Kinder war dann zum Abschluss des hoffentlich interessanten, erlebnisreichen und vielleicht auch unvergesslichen Vormittages bei der Feuerwehr nach gut eineinhalb Stunden die Rückfahrt zur Schule mit dem Feuerwehrauto.
