10.09.2023 - Ausflug in die Partnergemeinde Villar Perosa

Voller Vorfreude machte sich am Donnerstag, 07.09.23 ein großer Teil der Einsatzabteilung Großvillars mit Abteilungskommandant Klaus Bögel und seinen Stellvertretern, verstärkt durch Kommandant Thomas Meffle und zwei weiteren Kameraden der Abteilung Oberderdingen - teils mit Familienangehörigen - früh morgens mit dem Reisebus der Firma Wilk mit den zwei Busfahrern Rolf Wilk und Harald Vincon am Steuer auf den Weg zum viertägigen Ausflug nach Villar Perosa, unserer Partnergemeinde im Nordwesten Italiens.

Nach einer langen Fahrt sind wir in Villar Perosa angekommen und bezogen unsere Zimmer. Danach hießen uns, die Freunde aus Villar Perso herzlich Willkommen. Im Anschluss gab es ein gemeinsames Abendessen im Hotel Valentino.

Am Freitag fuhren wir nach Alba und besichtigten die Stadt. Am Nachmittag unternahmen wir einen gemeinsamen Ausflug ins Weinbaugebiet Barolo im Piemont. Dort besuchten wir auch das Wi-Mu Weinmuseum im Schloss Faletti di Barolo. Das Wi-Mu ist ein Museum mit interaktiven Ausstellungen zur Weinkultur und -tradition in einer mittelalterlichen Burg. Nach einer Stärkung mit Kaffee und Kuchen machten wir uns auf den Rückweg nach Villar Perosa, wo wir einen schönen Abend beim gemeinsamen Essen mit den Kameraden der freiwilligen Waldfeuerwehr „Squadra Volontari Antincendi Boschivi di Villar Perosa AIB“ in deren Feuerwehrhaus verbrachten.

Der Samstag stand dann ganz im Zeichen der Einweihung des neues Feuerwehrfahrzeugs für die AIB Villar Perosa im Gianni Agnelli Park in Villar Perosa. Im Beisein zahlreicher lokalpolitischer Prominenz und Abordnungen weiterer AIB-Einheiten aus dem Piemont fand die offizielle Segnung und Übergabe statt. Dabei stand Klaus Bögels Ehefrau Mona Pate für das neue Fahrzeug und durchschnitt symbolisch das Einweihungsband. Selbstverständlich waren auch wir alle in Uniform angetreten. Kommandant Thomas Meffle und Abteilungskommandant Klaus Bögel überbrachten die Glückwünsche und überreichten ein Präsent. Umrahmt wurde der Festakt vom Musikverein Villar Perosa.

Beim neuen Fahrzeug handelt es sich um ein gebrauchtes, ehemaliges französisches Waldbrandtanklöschfahrzeug auf Renault-Fahrgestell, das nach einer Generalüberholung und Neulackierung nun wieder gute Dienste leisten kann. Es ersetzt einen älteren Unimog.

Nach einem feierlichen Fahrzeugkorso durch Villar Perosa ging es am Abend wieder ins Feuerwehrhaus zu einer großen Party mit Paella-Essen. Bestens verköstigt verbrachten wir einen tollen Abend und feierten gemeinsam bis in die Nacht.

Am Sonntagmorgen hieß es dann schon wieder Abschied nehmen und wir machten uns auf den Weg in Richtung Heimat. Es war erneut ein sehr gelungener und schöner Ausflug nach Villar Perosa, bei dem die Freundschaften untereinander weiter vertieft werden konnten. Wir freuen uns schon auf ein baldiges Wiedersehen!
