Im Januar konnten 8 Mini-Kupplungsschlüssel beschafft werden. Die Mini-Kupplungsschlüssel Unisek ABCD sind für Kupplungen Storz A, B, C, D sowie Kupplungen DN 32 und DN 50 sowie zum Öffnen von Verschlüssen nach DIN 14925 geeignet. Der integrierte Innenvierkantschlüssel 11 mm ist als Handradersatz in Wandhydrantenschränken, die integrierten Sechskantschlüssel SW 10 und SW 13 zum Lösen des Batteriekabels von PKW und LKW gedacht. Die Schlüssel werden auf allen Großfahrzeugen und dem ELW verlastet.

Im März konnten weitere 10 neue Atemschutzgeräte des Herstellers Interspiro vom Typ QS2 samt Lungenautomaten, 300 bar-CFK-Atemluftflaschen (6,8 Liter) und Flaschenhüllen beschafft werden. Damit sind nun die Ersatzbeschaffung und die Umstellung aller Atemschutzgeräte unserer Feuerwehr auf Interspiro abgeschlossen. Mit der zuletzt angeschafften Charge ist bzw. wird in Kürze nun auch die Abteilung Flehingen auf allen Fahrzeugen komplett umgerüstet.

Nach den Erfahrungen der letzten Großbrände konnten ebenfalls im März zwei tragbare, mobile Wasserwerfer der Firma AWG vom Typ „ALCO Monitor APF 2-TurboFighter OSZI“ angeschafft werden, um die Beanspruchung des Personals zu reduzieren. Die Monitore haben eine maximale Durchflussrate von 2000 l/min. bei 8 bar und sind mit einer Mehrzweckdüse MZV 2000/600 EVO für Voll- und Sprühstrahl sowie einer Durchflussmengenregelung ausgestattet. Der Durchfluss kann in 200er Schritten von 600 l/min bis 2.000 l/min manuell am Düsenteller eingestellt werden. Durch drehen der Strahlformhülse kann die Strahlform im Betrieb stufenlos verstellt werden (Hohl- und Sprühstrahl). Die verwendete Mehrzweckdüse eignet sich neben dem Betrieb mit Wasser auch dazu, AFFF-Schaummittel ohne zusätzliche Hilfsmittel bis 3-fach zu verschäumen. Außerdem haben die Monitore eine Oszilliereinheit für autonome, horizontale Pendelbewegungen. Jeweils ein Werfer wird auf dem Löschgruppenfahrzeug LF 16/20 der Abteilung Oberderdingen und auf dem Hilfeleistungslöschgruppenfahrzeug HLF 16/20 der Abteilung Flehingen verlastet.

Außerdem konnten einige kaputt gegangene Schläuche in B und C Ersatzbeschafft werden.
