05.03.2023 - 2.41 - Gefahrstoffeinsatz ABC-Zug, Überlandhilfe - Gefahrstoffaustritt, Schwalbenrain, Kraichtal

Kraichtal/Bretten/Oberderdingen. Drei Kameraden der Abteilung Oberderdingen, die sich auch im ABC-Zug Bretten als Komponente des Gefahrgutszugs Karlsruhe-Land-Nord engagieren, waren am Sonntag, 05.03.23 im Einsatz. Um 2.41 Uhr wurde der ABC-Zug von der integrierten Leitstelle Karlsruhe aufgrund eines Gefahrstoffaustritts zusammen mit dem Gefahrgutzug Karlsruhe-Land-Nord und der Feuerwehr Kraichtal zu einer Firma in der Straße „Schwalbenrain“ im Kraichtaler Stadtteil Gochsheim zu einem Gefahrstoffeinsatz alarmiert.  

Die Polizei bemerkte auf dem Firmengelände an einem Außendruckbehältertank einen Gasaustritt und verständigte die Feuerwehr. Nach dem Eintreffen der ersten Kräfte wurde der Gefahrenbereich von der Feuerwehr umgehend gesperrt, zwei Fachberater Chemie hinzugezogen, die Einsatzstelle ausgeleuchtet und Zugang zum Einsatzobjekt geschaffen. Es konnte festgestellt werden, dass es sich beim abströmenden Gas um Stickstoff handelte. Im Verlauf des Einsatzes konnte die Leckage abgedichtet und die Werkshallen freigemessen werden. Vom ABC-Zug mussten keine weiteren Maßnahmen ergriffen werden.

Die Feuerwehr Kraichtal, der Gefahrgutzug Karlsruhe-Land-Nord und der ABC-Zug Bretten waren mit etlichen Kräften und 20 Fahrzeugen im Einsatz. Außerdem waren zwei Fachberater aus Stutensee und Weingarten sowie der stellvertretende Kreisbrandmeister Bernd Molitor aus Bruchsal vor Ort. Einsatzende war für die Kräfte der Abteilung Oberderdingen, die mit dem Mannschaftstransportwagen MTW im Einsatz waren, gegen 5.00 Uhr am frühen Morgen.
