Rüstwagen RW 1

Der Rüstwagen RW 1 ist ein Fahrzeug mit Allradantrieb, das bei  technischen Hilfeleistungen auch größeren Umfangs zum Einsatz kommt.

Dazu führt der Rüstwagen umfangreiches Werkzeug und Spezialgerät mit, mit dem verunfallte bzw. eingeklemmte Personen  beispielsweise bei Verkehrsunfällen und anderen Notlagen befreit, umweltschädigende Substanzen aufgenommen, Einsatzstellen ausgeleuchtet und andere Aufgaben erfüllt werden können.

Fest eingebaut und vom Fahrzeugmotor angetrieben ist eine Zugeinrichtung mit maschinellem Antrieb sowie ein Stromgenerator.

Die Besatzung besteht aus einem Trupp (1/2) und wird im Einsatz durch die Besatzung weiterer Fahrzeuge ergänzt.

 

Das Fahrzeug ersetzte einen Gerätewagen GW.

 

Stationiert war der Rüstwagen bei der Abteilung Oberderdingen. Er wurde am 30.09.2024 außer Dienst gestellt und durchden Gerätewagen-Logistik GW-L2 ersetzt. Das Fahrzeug wurde im Januar 2025 über eine Versteigerung an einen Händler veräußert und hat Oberderdingen am 13.02.25 verlassen.
