26.11.2022 - Jahresabschlussessen der Altersabteilung Oberderdingen

Oberderdingen. Ihren vorweihnachtlichen Jahresabschluss feierten die Alterskameraden der Abteilung Oberderdingen nach zwei Jahren coronapandemiebedingter Pause am Samstag, 26.11.22 im Saal des Feuerwehrhauses. Gemeinsam mit ihren Frauen und den Witwen unserer verstorbenen Kameraden treffen sie sich zum Ende eines Jahres nach langjährigem Brauch zu einem Jahresabschluss- bzw. Weihnachtsessen. 

Der Leiter der Altersabteilung, Ehrenkommandant Hans Meffle und Abteilungskommandant Tobias Proissl begrüßten nachmittags alle auf`s Herzlichste im Feuerwehrhaus und wünschten einige frohe und genussvolle Stunden, bevor sie zum Start zu Kaffee und Kuchen einluden.

Auch dieses Jahr sorgten die Kameradinnen und Kameraden des Abteilungsausschusses der Abteilung Oberderdingen als kleine Geste des Dankes an die Alterskameraden nun zum zweiten Mal in dieser Form für den passenden Rahmen mit der Organisation, Dekoration und dem Essen, so dass sich die „Reservisten“ um nichts kümmern mussten. Unter der Küchenleitung von Benjamin Ohnheiser und Markus Weisert wurde ein leckeres Menü zum Abendessen zusammengestellt und komplett in Eigenleistung zubereitet.

Nach der Kaffeezeit, zahlreiche heitere Erzählungen und Gespräche später, fiel dann abends der Startschuss zum warmen Buffet. Als Hauptspeisen gab es Rinder- und Schweinebraten sowie Putenschnitzel mit hausgemachten Soßen, als Beilagen selbstgemachte Spätzle, Kartoffelgratin, Gemüse und Salat und dazu den einen oder anderen Tropfen Wein aus unserer Gemeinde. Zum Dessert servierten wir Vanilleeis mit heißen Himbeeren.

Die rund 20-köpfige Gesellschaft verbrachte nach dem ausgezeichneten Essen – so die einhellige Meinung – noch einige schöne Stunden zusammen und schwelgte in vielen schönen Erinnerungen. Hans Meffle bedankte sich beim Küchenteam für die Durchführung des gelungenen Jahresabschlussessens und überreichte den Helferinnen und Helfern ein Weinpräsent mit den Worten „Ich freue mich schon auf das nächste Mal im kommenden Jahr“.

Doch zur vorgerückten Stunde ging dann auch dieser tolle Abend in geselliger Runde zu Ende, aber nicht bevor jeder ein von Alterskamerad Gerhard Bühler in Handarbeit selbstgemachtes Deko-Holztannenbäumchen als Präsent überreicht bekam.

Herzlichen Dank an die Organisatoren um Sarah Bratzel und an das Helfer-/Küchenteam, hier insbesondere an Bastian Ohnheiser für den Support sowie an die Kuchenspenderinnen.
