Bretten/Oberderdingen. Aufgrund einer starken Geruchsbelästigung in Bretten, die wohl auf einen Großbrand in einem Recyclingunternehmen in Illingen im Enzkreis zurückzuführen war, wurde der ABC-Zug Bretten, der sich aus Kameraden der Feuerwehren Bretten und Oberderdingen zusammensetzt, am Donnerstag, 29.09.22 um 9.39 Uhr von der integrierten Leitstelle Karlsruhe zu einem Messeinsatz alarmiert.

 

In Bretten und im Stadtteil Diedelsheim wurden vorsorglich Schadstoffmessungen in der Luft durchgeführt, um eine Gefahr für die Bevölkerung auszuschließen. Die Messungen ergaben keine Hinweise auf eine gefährliche Luftbelastung, so dass der Einsatz gegen 11.30 Uhr beendet werden konnte.

Von der Feuerwehr Oberderdingen, Abteilung Oberderdingen war ein Feuerwehrangehöriger mit dem Mannschaftstransportwagen MTW im Einsatz. Außerdem waren Kräfte der Feuerwehr Bretten mit dem CBRN-Erkundungskraftwagen und weiteren Fahrzeugen im Einsatz.

 

Dazu der Bericht des Polizeipräsidiums Pforzheim:

 Brand in Gewerbegebiet

Illingen/Enzkreis. Am Mittwochabend kurz nach 22 Uhr rückten Feuerwehr und Polizei zu einem Brand im Illinger Industriebgebiet Schweichling-Ost aus. Dort hatte sich auf dem Außengelände eines Recyclingunternehmens gelagertes Material/Elektroschrott entzündet. Der Brand drohte auf das Firmengebäude überzugreifen, weswegen die örtliche Feuerwehr starke Kräfte zum Einsatz bringen musste und hierbei durch umliegende Wehren aus Pforzheim und dem Enzkreis unterstützt wurde/wird.

Die Löscharbeiten dauern noch an und werden nach derzeitigen Informationen auch noch mehrere Stunden andauern. Für die Dauer der Löscharbeiten muss die nördlich des Gewerbegebiets verlaufende K 4574/Ensinger Straße zwischen Illingen und Ensingen komplett gesperrt werden. Anwohner werden wegen der andauernden starken Rauchentwicklung und der damit einhergehenden Geruchsbelästigung aufgefordert Fenster und Türen geschlossen zu halten. Schadstoffmessungen der Feuerwehr in den umliegenden Bereichen ergaben, dass für Anwohner keine Gefahr durch die Rauchentwicklung ausgeht.

Personen kamen durch das Brandereignis bislang nicht zu Schaden. Der durch den Brand entstandene Sachschaden lässt sich derzeit noch nicht beziffern.
