05.04.2025 - Gemeinsames Schlachtfest mit der Feuerwehr Bad Schussenried

Unter dem Motto „Freunde in Schwaben“ verbindet die Feuerwehren aus Bad Schussenried und Oberderdingen eine lange Freundschaft. Zum zwischenzeitlich sechsten Mal veranstalteten wir am Samstag, 05.04.25 bei wunderschönem Frühlingswetter ein gemeinsames Schlachtfest im Oberderdinger Feuerwehrhaus, dieses Jahr erstmals auch mit den Kameradinnen und Kameraden aus allen drei Oberderdinger Stadtteilen.

Nachdem am Freitagabend bereits das Vorauskommando um Metzger Markus mit den zuvor geschlachteten Schweinehälften von Schweinen aus regionaler Haltung in Oberderdingen angekommen war und wir nach dem Übungsdienst der Abteilung Oberderdingen den Abend bei einem gemeinsamen Essen ausklingen ließen ging es am nächsten Morgen weiter.

Helferinnen und Helfer beider Wehren trafen sich bereits um 8.00 Uhr, um die Waschhalle in eine Wurstküche umzufunktionieren. Die mitgebrachten vier Schweinehälften (rund 300kg) wurden in einigen Stunden Arbeit fachmännisch zerlegt und für anschließende Verwendung gerichtet, bevor das Verwursten begann.  

Nach der Ankunft weiterer Freunde aus Bad Schussenried startete um 18.00 Uhr dann das eigentliche Fest in der ausgeräumten Fahrzeughalle. Abteilungskommandant Andreas Bäuerle begrüßte gemeinsam mit Bad Schussenrieds Kommandant Andreas Sauter die rund 100 Gäste, Feuerwehrmitglieder und deren Familienangehörige aus den Einsatzabteilungen und der Altersmannschaften. Traditionell gab es im Anschluss eine reichhaltige Schlachtplatte mit Sauerkraut und Brot und als Alternative Maultauschen, wahlweise auch vegetarisch.

Gut gesättigt ließ man den Abend im Feuerwehrhaus bei zahlreichen Gesprächen, kühlen Getränken und guter Stimmung mit Musik von DJ Alert weit nach Mitternacht ausklingen.

An dieser Stelle nochmals herzlichen Dank an alle fleißigen Helfer/innen, dem Organisationsteam und vor allem natürlich dem Schussenrieder „Feuerwehr-Metzger“ und der Feuerwehr Bad Schussenried für die großzügige Spende und das tolle gemeinsame Schlachtfest!
