27.09.2024 - Das Land Baden-Württemberg regelt Feuerwehrförderung neu

Das Land hat eine neue Verwaltungsvorschrift zur Feuerwehrförderung erlassen. Neben der finanziellen Förderung mit Millionenbeträgen werden zukünftig Feuerwehren auch organisatorisch bei der Beschaffung der Fahrzeuge unterstützt.

„Wir lassen unsere Feuerwehren nicht allein – auch nicht beim Kauf von Feuerwehrfahrzeugen. Künftig beschafft das Land für die Städte und Gemeinden landesweit die neuen Feuerwehrfahrzeuge. Das sorgt für weniger Bürokratie vor Ort. Das ist Bürokratieabbau in seiner besten Form. Das Bewährte und Gute lassen wir freilich unverändert: Wir unterstützen die Feuerwehren auch künftig weiter kräftig mit Millionenbeträgen“, sagte der stellvertretende Ministerpräsident und Innenminister Thomas Strobl. Der Innenminister hat am 27. September 2024 die neue Verwaltungsvorschrift zur Feuerwehrförderung (ZFeuVwW) (PDF) erlassen.

Unterstützung bei der Ausschreibung von Feuerwehrfahrzeugen

Neu wird künftig sein, dass das Innenministerium die Städte und Gemeinden bei der Ausschreibung von Feuerwehrfahrzeugen unterstützen wird. Damit sollen vor allem kleine Gemeinden von den immer umfangreicheren und aufwändigeren Vergabeverfahren entlastet werden. Das Land bietet dazu den Städten und Gemeinden die Möglichkeit, an der landesweiten Neubeschaffung einzelner Fahrzeugtypen teilzunehmen. Das Innenministerium übernimmt für diese Fahrzeuge die Ausschreibung und unterstützt bei der Abwicklung des Fahrzeugkaufes. Die neuen Regeln für die Feuerwehrförderung gelten ab dem kommenden Jahr 2025.

Innenminister Thomas Strobl informierte in diesem Zusammenhang: „In den letzten fünf Jahren hat das Innenministerium alle förderfähigen Anträge der Kommunen auch tatsächlich bewilligt. So hat Baden-Württemberg knapp 300 Millionen Euro in das Feuerwehrwesen in Baden-Württemberg investiert. Allein im Jahr 2024 stellt das Land mehr als 61 Millionen Euro für die Feuerwehren zur Verfügung, darunter 49,4 Millionen Euro für die Förderung von Fahrzeugen und Feuerwehrhäusern. Hinzu kommen nochmals 12,1 Millionen Euro pauschale Unterstützung für die Ausstattung und Ausbildung der Feuerwehrangehörigen sowie für kleinere Beschaffungen.“

Grundlage der Förderungen ist die Verwaltungsvorschrift des Innenministeriums über Zuwendungen für das Feuerwehrwesen (ZFeuVwW). Das Innenministerium hatte die Verwaltungsvorschrift neu gefasst und mit den kommunalen Landesverbänden und dem Landesfeuerwehrverband abgestimmt. Die bislang geltende Verwaltungsvorschrift wird planmäßig zum 31. Dezember 2024 außer Kraft treten.
