23.10.2024 - Ehrungsabend der Stadt Oberderdingen

Beim diesjährigen Ehrungsabend der Stadt Oberderdingen am Samstag, 26.10.24 in der Neuen Schlossgartenhalle Flehingen konnten auch zwei Angehörige der Feuerwehr Oberderdingen ausgezeichnet werden. Michael Rübenacker von der Abteilung Flehingen und Alexander Weisert, Abteilung Oberderdingen, erhielten von Bürgermeister Thomas Nowitzki und Kommandant Thomas Meffle im Beisein der Abteilungskommandanten Andreas Bäuerle und Patrick Wörner das Feuerwehr-Ehrenzeichen des Landes Baden-Württemberg in Silber für 25 Jahre aktive Dienstzeit im Namen von Innenminister Thomas Strobl überreicht.

Bürgermeister Nowitzki dankte den Beiden für ihr langjähriges Engagement und lobte die ehrenamtliche und überaus wichtige Arbeit der Feuerwehr zum Schutz und zur Sicherheit der Mitbürgerinnen und Mitbürger als Pflichtaufgabe der Kommune.

Der Ehrungsabend ist seit vielen Jahren in Oberderdingen etabliert. Im Mittelpunkt stehen dabei die Sportler- und Vereinsehrungen, bei denen Sportlerinnen und Sportler sowie im Ehrenamt tätige Vereinsmitglieder, welche durch herausragende Leistungen dem Ansehen der Stadt Oberderdingen gedient haben, geehrt werden. Dieses Jahr kamen noch die Blutspenderehrungen des Deutschen Roten Kreuzes hinzu. Außerdem wurden die erwähnten Ehrungen der Feuerwehr in würdigem Rahmen nachgeholt, da die Geehrten bei der Auszeichnung an der Hauptversammlung der Feuerwehr Oberderdingen nicht teilnehmen konnten.

Musikalisch umrahmt wurde der von Gemeinderat und stellvertretendem Bürgermeister Alfred Woll moderierte Abend durch Vivien und Valery Keppler von der Musikschule Raab, außerdem sorgten die Tänzerinnen der Flamencoschule Christina La Morena mit ihren Auftritten für Unterhaltung. Für das leibliche Wohl sorgte die Offene Jugendwerkstatt Flehingen.
