19.06.2023 - Vorschulkinder vom Schneckenhaus „Rudi“ zu Besuch bei der Abteilung Oberderdingen

Oberderdingen. 14 Vorschulkinder und zwei Erzieherinnen vom Kindergarten Schneckenhaus "Rudi" in der Langwiesenstraße waren am Montagmorgen, 19.06.23 zu Besuch bei der Feuerwehrabteilung Oberderdingen, um bei einer kleinen Brandschutzerziehung etwas über die Feuerwehr zu erfahren.

Sie wurden mit zwei Mannschaftstransportwagen im Kindergarten abgeholt und zum Feuerwehrhaus gefahren. Nach der Begrüßung durch Ehrenkommandant Hans Meffle bestiegen alle gemeinsam den Übungsturm und konnte so die tolle Aussicht über unseren Ort genießen. Danach gab es eine Führung durch das ganze Feuerwehrhaus. Für die Kinder begann der interessante Teil dann in der Fahrzeughalle, denn so ein Feuerwehrauto ist für Kinder immer eine faszinierende Sache! Und auch für die Ausrüstung war ein großes Interesse erkennbar.

Das Beste war jedoch, als die Kinder auf dem Übungsplatz mit Wasser aus einem echten Feuerwehrschlauch spritzen durften, was bei hochsommerlichen Temperaturen auch für etwas Erfrischung sorgte. Aber wie das Sprichwort sagt, „ohne Fleiß kein Preis“, denn das Wasser zum Spritzen kam aus der Kübelspritze, die von Hand mittels Muskelkraft bedient werden musste, was aber meist abwechselnd von zwei Kindern erledigt wurde, aber auch die Erzieherinnen legten sich hier mächtig ins Zeug.

Nach gut zwei Stunden war der Spaß dann schon wieder vorbei und die Kinder und Erzieherinnen wurden zurück zum Kindergarten gefahren.

Danke an Hans, Heinz, Waldemar und Wolfgang von der Altersabteilung sowie an Tilo von der Einsatzmannschaft für ihren Einsatz zur Freude der Kinder!
