Im Rahmen des Kreiszeltlagers 2023 der Jugendfeuerwehr Landkreis Karlsruhe, das vom 07. bis 11.06.23 in Bruchsal stattfand, bekam unsere Kameradin Melanie Meffle von der Abteilung Oberderdingen die Ehrennadel der Jugendfeuerwehr Baden-Württemberg in Gold verliehen.

Der stellvertretende Landesjugendleiter Oliver Semmler vom Dachverband der Jugendfeuerwehr Baden-Württemberg und Kreisjugendfeuerwehrwart Jan Becker überreichten die Ehrung beim Eröffnungsabend des Kreiszeltlagers vor den fast 900 Zeltlagerteilnehmern und Helfern sowie den Ehrengästen, unter ihnen Knut Bühler, Stellvertreter des Landrats und Erster Landesbeamter, Bruchsals Oberbürgermeisterin Cornelia Petzold-Schick und viele ihrer KollegInnen, Kreisfeuerwehrverbandsvorsitzender Eckhard Helms mit seinen Stellvertretern, die anwesenden Mitglieder des Kreisstabs, des Verbandsvorstands- und Ausschusses, alle Unterkreisführer und Kommandanten sowie Abteilungskommandanten und deren Stellvertreter.

Jan Becker dankte Melanie Meffle für ihre Arbeit bei der Jugendfeuerwehr Landkreis Karlsruhe über viele Jahre hinweg. Seit 2005 engagiert sie sich dort, zunächst als Vertreterin der Jugendwarte und später als Fachgebietsleiterin Jugendforum. In all den Jahren unterstützte sie zudem den Küchenzug und das Schiedsrichterteam der Jugendfeuerwehr Landkreis Karlsruhe.

Die Ehrung war eigentlich schon im Jahr 2020 vorgesehen, konnte aber mangels Gelegenheit aufgrund der Coronapandemie erst jetzt durchgeführt werden.
