24.10.2023 - Gruppen- und Zugführerweiterbildung: Besichtigung der Kläranlage Abwasserverband Oberer Kraichbach

Am Dienstag, 24.10.23 fand eine weitere Gruppen- und Zugführerweiterbildung für die Führungskräfte der Gesamtwehr Oberderdingen statt. Auch bei dieser Fortbildung wurde erneut eine Objektbegehung durchgeführt. Ziel der Besichtigung war die Kläranlage des Abwasserverbands Oberer Kraichbach in Flehingen, wo der Betriebsleiter Bernd Bauer die Feuerwehrangehörigen empfing.

Jochen Gilly, der 2. Stellvertretende Kommandant der Feuerwehr Oberderdingen begrüßte als Organisator der Abendveranstaltung die 24-köpfige Gruppe der Führungskräfte. Unter ihnen waren auch Kameraden der Feuerwehren unserer Nachbargemeinden Kürnbach, Sternenfels und Sulzfeld, die ebenfalls im Einzugsbereich der Kläranlage liegen.

Betriebsleiter Bernd Bauer übernahm anschließend die Führungen durch die Anlage, erläuterte die Funktionsweise, gab Informationen zum Einzugsgebiet und zum Absperren von Rückhaltebecken im Einzugsgebiet bei Brandereignissen. Dafür ist seitens der Kläranlage unter anderem eine Vorlaufzeit von rund zweieinhalb Stunden notwendig, um für die Löschwasseraufnahme bereit zu sein, erklärte Bauer, was eine frühzeitige Verständigung der Kläranlage erforderlich macht. „Hier zählt jede Minute“ so Bauer weiter.

Er erklärte zudem den Ablauf und die Arbeit bei größeren Brandereignissen wie dem Großbrand im Juli dieses Jahres im Flehinger Industriegebiet. Ferner wurde die Vorgehensweise bei der Annahme von kontaminiertem Löschwasser besprochen.

Bernd Bauer informierte auch über die Möglichkeiten der Unterstützung der Feuerwehr seitens der Kläranlage bei Bränden. So kann auf dem Betriebsgelände eine Entnahmestelle für Löschwasser aus dem Nachklärbecken für den Pendelverkehr eingerichtet werden. Zusätzlich können hier zwei Transportfasswagen mit einem Tankvolumen von insgesamt rund 15m3 zur Verfügung gestellt werden.

Zum Ausklang des Dienstabends gab es eine Frage- bzw. Feedbackrunde und einen kurzen Einblick auf die Einsatzmöglichkeiten der Einsatz-Tablet-PC`s der Feuerwehr Oberderdingen sowie einem kleinen Imbiss, den der Abwasserverband ermöglichte.

Jochen Gilly bedankte sich abschließend mit einem Weinpräsent bei Bernd Bauer für den sehr interessanten Dienst, der viele Erkenntnisse brachte, welche uns hinsichtlich größerer Brände weiterhelfen werden.
