Tragkraftspritzenfahrzeug TSF

Das Tragkraftspritzenfahrzeug dient überwiegend zur Brandbekämpfung kann aber auch zur einfachen technischen Hilfeleistung eingesetzt werden. Es ist das kleinste genormte Löschfahrzeug und besitzt die feuerwehrtechnische Beladung für eine Löschgruppe. Den etwas ungewöhnlichen Namen verdankt das Fahrzeug der im Heck eingeschobenen Tragkraftspritze TS16/8 (nach Norm eigentlich TS 8/8). Eine TS16/8 ist eine ca. 200kg schwere, tragbare Feuerlöschkreiselpumpe (PFPN) welche von vier Personen aus dem Fahrzeug entnommen und zur Einsatzstelle getragen werden kann. Dies ermöglicht eine Pumpe an Stellen einzusetzen, die mit an Fahrzeugen montierten Pumpen nicht erreichbar sind.

Bei einem Brandeinsatz rückt das TSF entsprechend der Alarm- und Ausrückeordnung bei der Abteilung Flehingen als zweites Fahrzeug zum Einsatz aus. Dort wird von der TSF-Besatzung (Staffel 1/5) meist die Wasserversorgung für das zuerst ausgerückte Hilfeleistungslöschgruppenfahrzeug hergestellt. Danach kann die Besatzung des TSF die Brandbekämpfung vom eigenen Fahrzeug aus durchführen oder stellt einen Rettungstrupp für die Kräfte, die sich bereits im Atemschutzeinsatz befinden.

Die alte Tragkraftspritze des TSF, eine TS 8/8 mit einem VW Industriemotor mit 1200 ccm hatte bereits eine lange Geschichte hinter sich. Sie wurde vom Vorgängerfahrzeug, einem LF8 auf Opel Blitz, übernommen. Ursprünglich handelte es sich um ein Fabrikat der Fa. Metz aus Karlsruhe, angetrieben von einem VW-Industriemotor. Zwischenzeitlich wurde sie jedoch bei der Fa. Bachert technisch überholt und der Pumpenteil ausgetauscht. Der VW-Motor aus dem Jahre 1956 blieb jedoch erhalten.

Im November 2011 wurde sie durch eine neue TS 16/8 von der Firma Ziegler ersetzt. Die Ziegler „Ultra-Power“-PFPN hatte die besten Leistungsdaten zu bieten, und kann mit ihrem VW-3-Zylinder-4-Takt-Aluminiummotor bei 3 m geodätischer Saughöhe ca. 1700 l/min bei 10 bar fördern. Sie kann zudem als Lenzpumpe genutzt werden.
