08.09.2023 - Sommernachtsdienst #3: Rotkäppchentour

Oberderdingen. Den Abschluss der Sommernachtsdienste in diesem Jahr bei der Abteilung Oberderdingen machte am Freitag, 08.09.23 die „Rotkäppchentour“. Bei traumhaft schönem Spätsommerwetter verknüpften wir dabei Fachliches mit einer Menge Spaß und Kameradschaft.

Abends um 18 Uhr traf sich die Gruppe von rund 15 wanderlustigen Teilnehmenden am Feuerwehrhaus und machte sich nach der Begrüßung durch unseren „hauseigenen“ Wein- und Wanderführer Bebbel bildlich gesprochen auf Rotkäppchens Weg zur kranken Großmutter, einer kleinen Wanderung, unterstützt durch die Kraft des Rebensaftes, um der Großmutter ihre Medizin zu bringen!

Zum Einstieg gab es dafür einen weißen Secco vom Weingut Heitlinger. Anschließend machten wir uns auf Schusters Rappen mit unseren Körbchen – in heutiger Zeit waren es dann doch eher Rucksäcke – auf den Weg in Richtung Großvillars. Beim Kreisverkehr bogen wir dann rechts ab hinauf zum Wilfenberg, um danach bei der „Brettener Spitze“ unweit des Wanderparkplatzes in den Wald zu gehen. Am Waldrand trafen wir dann glücklicherweise auf unsere erste Aufgabe zur feuerwehrtechnischen bzw. fachlichen Weiterbildung. Wir hatten die erste „Forstrettungstafel“ (Rettungspunkt) gefunden, erhielten Informationen darüber und konnten den ersten Wein, einen Samtrot Rose Kabinett vom Weinkonvent Dürrenzimmern probieren. Natürlich mit den entsprechenden Erläuterungen unseres Weinführers Bebbel.

Weiter ging es auf der stramm geplanten Tour im kühleren Wald, bei etwa 30O C im Schatten durchaus willkommen, über den Lehrnweg zum Zigeunergrabenweg, wo wir am Waldrand den zweiten Rettungspunkt aufgespürt hatten. Hier erwartete uns ein feinfruchtiger BLÜTENTRAUM aus Sauvitage und Souvignier Gris der Weingärtner Stromberg-Zabergäu, ein Cuvée aus pilzwiederstandsfähigen Pflanzen, wie wir erfuhren.

Von dort aus ging es weiter über den Douglasweg zum 2. Waldweg, wo dann der dritte Stop am Forstrettungsschild bei der Brücke über die DB-Schnellfahrstrecke bevorstand. Hier konnten wir einen südafrikanischen Chenin Blanc des Weinguts Manley probieren.

Und weiter ging es, den Durst mit Wasser gestillt, zur letzten Etappe. Wir marschierten über den 3. Waldweg zum Hellen Plattenweg wo wir dann unser Ziel, Großmutters Hütte im Wald, heute Kuglerhütte genannt, mit dem für uns an diesem Tag letzten Rettungspunkt erreichten. Dort gab es zum Abschluss einen italienischen, roten Biowein Cuore Verde Foresta „Ombrosa Organic“ der Rebsorte Primitivo, Jahrgang 2021, des Weinguts Casa Vinicola Botter aus Apulien zum Verkosten. Nach dem fast sieben Kilometer langen Marsch gab es bei einbrechender Dunkelheit zur Stärkung gegrillte Würste in gemütlicher Runde und Dank der ausgezeichnten Führung trafen wir unterwegs auch nicht auf den bösen Wolf sondern nur auf guten Wein! 😊

Hintergrund:

Die Sommernachtsdienste finden bei der Einsatzabteilung Oberderdingen seit vielen Jahren in der Zeit der Sommerferien statt, wenn eigentlich kein regulärer Übungsdienst während der Urlaubszeit durchgeführt wird. Gemeinsame Unternehmungen sorgen bei den Daheimgebliebenen aber für etwas Abwechslung zum Alltag und stärken den kameradschaftlichen Zusammenhalt.
