15.02.2023 - Teilnahme an Kolloquium der Forstlichen Versuchs- und Forschungsanstalt Baden-Württemberg zum Thema „Waldbrand“

Mit Udo Vincon von der Abteilung Großvillars und Markus Weisert von der Abteilung Oberderdingen nahmen zwei Führungskräfte der Feuerwehr Oberderdingen am Mittwoch, 15.02.23 an einem Kolloquium der Forstlichen Versuchs- und Forschungsanstalt Baden-Württemberg (FVA) in Freiburg zum Thema „Waldbrand“ teil. Bei der rund fünfstündigen Informations- und Fortbildungsveranstaltung stellten sechs Fachleute der Forstwirtschaft bzw. der Feuerwehr ihre Kurzreferate vor und zeigten die Thematik aus unterschiedlichen Sichtweisen auf.

Erster Redner war Alexander Held, Feuerökologe und Waldbrandmanagementexperte vom European Forest Institute, der eine Einführung in das Waldbrandmanagement gab. Dabei zeigte er den Unterschied zwischen Waldbrandbekämpfung und Waldbrandmanagement, die Grundlagen des Feuerverhaltens, die Feuerverhaltensfaktoren als Grundlage für Prävention und Taktik, die Bedeutung von Totholz beim Thema Waldbrand sowie die kurzfristig-technische und langfristig-konzeptionelle Prävention im Waldbrandmanagement auf.

Dr. Yvonne Hengst, Leiterin des Arbeitsbereichs Risiko- und Krisenmanagement der Abteilung Forstökonomie und Management (FVA) referierte über das Thema „Faktor Mensch und die Zusammenarbeit im Waldbrandmanagement“. Hier ging es um die Bewusstseinsbildung in der Bevölkerung, um die Bedeutung der Zusammenarbeit von Forst, Feuerwehr und Gemeinden, um Erkenntnisse aus der Modellregion „Waldbrand Hardtwald“ und um aktuelle Schulungsangebote.

Als nächster Redner berichtete Dr. Christoph Hartebrodt, Abteilungsleiter der Abteilung Forstökonomie und Management zum Sachstand des Waldbrandmanagements in Baden-Württemberg, insbesondere über das Schutzgutkonzept als Baustein für die Waldbrandprävention. Weiter stellte er den Aufbau von möglichen Waldbrandmanagementkarten und die Priorisierung von Flächen für präventive Maßnahmen vor.

Über das Waldbrandmanagement aus der Sicht der Feuerwehr berichteten Christian Leiberich, Kreisbrandmeister Landkreis Emmendingen, Christoph Glaisner, Bezirksbrandmeister Regierungspräsidium Freiburg und Landesbranddirektor im Innenministerium Thomas Egelhaaf.

Kreisbrandmeister Christian Leiberich sprach über Erfahrungen aus der Praxis anhand eines Brandeinsatzes am „Kandel“ am 18. Juli 2022.

Aus der Sicht der Feuerwehren berichtete Bezirksbrandmeister Christoph Glaisner über die Möglichkeiten zur Vorbereitung für die Bekämpfung von Wald- und Vegetationsbränden.

Als letzter Referent erläuterte Landesbranddirektor Thomas Egelhaaf die Entwicklungen im Bereich der Wald- und Vegetationsbrandbekämpfung auf Landes- und Bundesebene.

Nach den Vorträgen folgte eine Fragerunde im Plenum zum Austausch mit den Referenten und dem Waldbrandteam der FVA. Nach der Mittagspause bestand noch die Möglichkeit, bei einer Ausstellung im Außenbereich spezielles Equipment für Forstverwaltungen und Waldbesitzer zu besichtigen.
