Die Abteilungen Oberderdingen und Flehingen wurden am Mittwoch, 08.11.2023 um 19.03 Uhr mit den Alarmstichworten „Einsatzstelle ausleuchten“ von der integrierten Leitstelle Karlsruhe zur Landesstraße L 1103 Oberderdingen-Sternefels alarmiert. Die Polizei forderte die Feuerwehr nach einem Verkehrsunfall zum Ausleuchten der Unfallstelle nach.

Nach dem Eintreffen an der Einsatzstelle auf der L 1103 im S-Kurvenbereich im Wald kurz vor der Gemarkungs- und Kreisgrenze ergab die Lageerkundung, dass zwei PKW`s miteinander kollidiert waren. Drei beteiligte Personen wurden beim Unfall verletzt und wurden bereits vom Rettungsdienst versorgt.

Die Feuerwehr leuchtete die Unfallstelle mit mehreren Lichtmasten aus und unterstützte einen Linienbus beim Rückwärtsfahren in der Dunkelheit bis zum Wendeplatz beim Wanderparkplatz Kraichsee für die Weiterfahrt auf der Umleitungsstrecke, da die Landesstraße für die Unfallaufnahme über eine längere Zeit voll gesperrt werden musste.

Im Einsatz bzw. in Bereitstellung waren 22 Feuerwehrangehörige der Abteilung Oberderdingen mit dem Hilfeleistungslöschgruppenfahrzeug HLF 20, dem Rüstwagen RW 1 und dem Einsatzleitwagen ELW 1 sowie neun Kräfte der Abteilung Flehingen mit dem Hilfeleistungslöschgruppenfahrzeug HLF 16/20. Der Rettungsdienst des DRK-Kreisverbands Karlsruhe war mit zwei Mitarbeitenden sowie einem Rettungswagen RTW angerückt. Von der Polizei waren acht Beamte mit vier Streifenwagen vom Revier Bretten und vom Verkehrsunfalldienst vor Ort. Einsatzende war gegen 21.25 Uhr.
